piracy

hi

just came back from swimming. a bit tired cause didnt slept well last night. thanks to the cute mosquitoes.. made my whole night miserable. T.T

well, as i read through the newspaper online, i found out this interesting article.. it is about the anti-piracy movement for software in malaysia.

hmm.. what?!

BSA ( Business Software Alliance) goes on Youtube to look for 'superheroes' ???

ok.. in short, Antipiracy watchdog, the Business Software Alliance (BSA) has just put up a video on YouTube, which urges the public to become “superheroes” by reporting businesses that use illegal copies of software.

and guess what, the production of the merely one minute video which called "Superhero Fighting Software Piracy" cost them about USD 25000 (rm 90000) !!

quite surprised for it.. plus this is MALAYSIA.. the heaven for pirated things. from DVD to clothes and to all sort of things. do you think that the video will cause much effects to this phenomenon ? kinda like another waste of money.

the video ok lar~~ a bit funny..
to those who want to watch the video, this is it..

only can upload the link as the video are too large.. :(

btw, i also found another video about the anti-piracy thingy.. and its more interesting and funnier.. haha.. "super mario ad. in anti-privacy "... :)

so,

Anyone wanting to be a "superhero" can report companies using pirated software at this website, http://reportpiracy.asia.
